AUGUST 2018
Project Summary
An extensive research effort was launched by our UX team to find out who our user’s are and what information they’re looking for specifically, with a large focus on our article templates.
Data was triaged and analyzed within a cross-department team, and patterns on the types and categories of questions emerged.
Search engine optimization goals were folded into business requirements to drive new features to incorporate into the article template.
Brainstorming sessions were conducted to discover the best ways we could focus and deliver specific and high-demand information to users, especially through search, with some key goals:
content is intuitive and easily discovered
content engaging
content is search engine friendly
content can be used across site independently
Ideation sessions led to testing these ideas to see how users would respond to our concepts and designs were created around the specific goals and overall established visual language.
After positive testing responses, a large editorial effort was launched to extract and support this new content feature, designs were tweaked, finalized and developed for launch.
